LAKEHOUSE LOVE ON THE SUNSHINE COAST

We adored working with Alex, her wedding day was all about quality over quantity with rich colours with a coastal Hamptons vibe. Alex first locked in an early spring wedding date and desperately wanted peonies which are in their prime from mid-November until Christmas time. Devastated by the news that her dream flower was not going to be available she accepted the fact that her wedding flowers of cottage roses, ranunculus, and double tulips would ‘have to do’. In a twist of fate, Alex fell pregnant to the sweetest little boy meaning the wedding date got postponed to late November! This meant that not only was Alex a mumma to not only a daughter she now had a son and could now have her dream wedding flowers after all! 

So her dream bouquet was rich and full of peonies, lisianthus and cottage roses, with stunning textured foliages including copper beech.

The ceremony space, it was lush, romantic and stylish, the mantle table at Annabella’s Chapel in Ilkley was covered with an abundance of burgundy, plum, fuschia, peach floral arrangements filled with garden roses, peonies, amaranthus, smoke bush, lisianthus and snapdragons. We used an abundance of mixed foliages including palms, magnolia, and copper beech foliage for a luxe look. We also added over 25 pillar candles in cylinder vases for added ambiance. The Lakehouse in Mountain Creek looked so classic with classic yet elegant styling with crisp table runners, an abundance of candlelight and lush floral arrangements in our authentic brass chalice bowls. All of the ceremony florals were able to be transferred to the reception to be further admired. Sprigs of olive leaf were laid on the napkins for that element of attention to detail.
