JEMMA + STEPHEN AT PIER 33

PIER 33, MOOLOOLABA

NOVEMBER 2022

Jemma originally wasn’t sure she wanted any florals for their day as they were having a more intimate, not traditional wedding. From just wanting lush tropical leaves and no flowers at all to a love of bright Mediterranean vibes.

We love where this late spring wedding flowers design evolved to; the fresh bold colours, with some subtle under tones and interesting textures, to the citrus, bougainvillea, and blue glass bottles in the styling bringing the Mediterranean to Mooloolaba!

Jemma’s bouquet was a fun little colour pop including peonies, roses, cornflowers, sims, and boronia.

Once again we love to be able to transfer your ceremony florals to get dual use and make the most of that centrepiece design. These freestanding structures were repurposed to an entrance space and a cake display area. The ceremony and reception florals had loads of seasonal blooms and textures like: delphinium, boronia, cornflower, lisianthus, zinnia, amaranthus, orchids with larger features of roses and disbuds.

The cocktail style reception was upstairs at the nautical styled Pier 33 in Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast. We love creating wedding flowers at this venue, the staff and food is amazing, and the space is large enough for a sit down wedding or small enough for a fun cocktail wedding with room to dance!

This wedding was a fun, family celebration with lots of love and and dancing and we love seeing more colour pop in wedding and celebration blooms.
