HANNAH + JEREMY AT YANDINA STATION

YANDINA STATION

JULY 2020

Hannah and Jeremy’s Wedding was a stunner and neither July weather nor restrictions were going to affect their perfect day at Yandina Station!
A note from Hannah:
When the restrictions on weddings were put in place about four months away from our wedding, a handful of people straight out told us to forget about having our wedding any time this year. It was really upsetting to hear that these people weren’t positive about our situation and totally unsupportive.
We eventually decided to postpone our wedding, which was a hard move to accept as we just couldn’t wait to get married, as all engaged couples are.
We prayed hard that restrictions would ease and ignored the negativity from others and our faith soon rewarded us with restrictions being lifted just in time for our July wedding. We received so much support from our vendors to proceed with our original wedding date and we are so thankful to have had them all on board.
Our florist Sandi and her team created pure, floristry magic at our Yandina Station wedding and all the stress of planning our wedding through a pandemic was rewarded. Despite the current health crisis also impacting flower availability, Sandi worked closely with us to understand our vision and had so many creative ideas that allowed us to have the killer florals that we wanted for our big day. Sandi and the Willow Bud team put so much love into their work and it certainly shows. Our wedding day florals completely transformed our venue into the most dreamy, romantic wedding you could ever imagine.

Hannah’s bridesmaid’s bouquets were a gathered modern style of long stems winter florals such as roses, tulips, ranunculus and spray roses with the bride’s bouquet featuring a stunning phalaenopsis stem. The simple and elegant design perfectly fits with the classic bridal gown and bridesmaids’ black dresses.

Although the ceremony was brought indoors it was AMAZING – Our open framed plinths dripping with florals were the perfect backdrop for the indoor ceremony. These were later moved to beside the bridal table creating a floral cave for guests to enjoy.

The tablecentres were clusters of white blooms with a subtle pop of champagne with minimal foliages creating upright floral gardens.

The wedding has been featured on The Lovers Club; click here to see more from the day.

Willow Bud Wedding Florist created these wedding flowers and bridal bouquets. The wedding ceremony and reception designs were created specifically for this bride at this Sunshine Coast wedding venue, but this style could be created at many of our beautiful Sunshine Coast hinterland wedding venues in Maleny, Montville, Mapleton, Obi Obi, and Flaxton. This wedding styling and wedding florals would also match perfectly with venues and beaches in Noosa, Mooloolaba, Caloundra and private properties across the Sunshine Coast.
