JESSIE + ANTHONY AT SPICERS CLOVELLY

SPICERS CLOVELLY ESTATE

OCTOBER 2019

Jessie and Anthony – October, Spicers Clovelly Estate.

The Bouquet

Soft and romantic blooms in white, champagne, blush and palest pearl tones paired with loose and whimsical foliages in a subtle cascade design.
Jessie’s bouquet was an abundance of the prettiest O’Hara, Playa Blanca and Quicksand roses, ranunculus, tulips, delphinium, ruscus, andromeda, tweedia and green ruscus foliage. The soft and pretty florals were an amazing match for Jessies stunning gown and embroidered veil and a stunning contrast with her bridesmaids dark coloured dresses.
The grooms buttonhole was a simple design finished with our hand dyed silk ribbon in a matching soft neutral colour with the bridal bind.

The Ceremony

Guests arrived at Spicers Clovelly, rounded the corner, and were greeted by the most romantic floral-filled ceremony space! Sweet aisle gardens and petals lead the way down towards the elegant and magical freestanding arbour-less arbour which appeared to have grown from the ground, meandering along the ground and reaching up towards each other. The ceremony had an organic, asymmetrical feel with florals grouped and allowing the foliages to dance in the breeze naturally.
These florals were all relocated after the ceremony to frame the cake table and create a lush floral feel to the reception space.
The stunning photos of Jessie and Anthony’s day captured so perfectly (those arbour shots – mwah) by Edwina Robertson.

My family are all keen gardeners and love flowers .... so the florals had to be amazing. And they were beyond! They are all still talking about it. You did such amazing work

The Reception.

Guests enjoyed some time in the cocktail area and ceremony space together before they entered the reception. Before they even entered they were greeted by a small feature hanging installation situated between the deck and the library space, a lush barrel and sign floral arrangement. This set the tone for the floral-filled tables and library deck.

The hanging garden design over the tables was one of the longest ones we have done with an airy and whimsical feel that floated and curved between the light fittings and amongst the fairy lights from Lovebird weddings. The installation reaching from one side of the room to the other, with groupings of florals and large branches of foliages and sweeping designs.

The tables were adorned with a mixture of posies of florals in our textured glass vases and single stand-out feature blooms placed between the candles. It was a beautiful and practical design allowing for tableware and guests to interact.

The ceremony florals were repurposed to frame the cake table and the entrance to the dance floor, we also created a floral nook and lounge area with floral backdrop for guests to rest and enjoy between dances, featuring stunning styling and decor from Lovebird Weddings.

This was definitely a wedding that dreams are made of and has already inspired many of our brides.
