Melinda’s bouquet and the floral styling for hers and Gareth’s day were like pillows of soft fluffy clouds. Alas, the real Winter clouds got jealous and thought they would make themselves noticed too. Regardless of the June weather, their florals at Spicers Clovelly Estate in Montville, just a short trip between Maleny and Flaxton were dreamy and classic.
Melinda’s bouquet was elegant and perfect for her. White O’Hara roses, pure white peonies from France!, open garden cluster roses in ivory and sweet white tweedia, and bleached Ruscus adding texture. Subtle touches of foliage just to create a little softness.
The ceremony may have been moved indoors but the love, tears and laughter continued. The arbour was later moved outside for photos and guests to enjoy. We created an intimate ceremony space with our aisle posies with long trailing foliages and white seasonal florals along the length of the aisle. The arbour was soft and dramatic with white drape and white florals including delphinium, roses, tulips and peonies with strong magnolia and soft ivy and ruscus foliages.
The reception was light and bright and showcased soft pillowy florals with soft trailing foliages in mixed clear glass vessels. These mixed vessels of different heights and sizes created a full floral look but still left space for guests to interact and wine glasses to be placed. As the night went on, candles were lit and the room took on a real warmth and the couple and guests could relax and enjoy the night!
