We’ll never tire of a dreamy white and blue wedding at the beautiful The Old Dairy, Maleny. As a Sunshine Coast wedding florist, creating wedding flowers at this breathtaking hinterland wedding venue is always a highlight. With sweeping mountain views, perfect blue skies and an effortlessly elegant atmosphere, it provided the most beautiful setting for Monique and Nicholas’ timeless celebration.
Monique carried a feminine and romantic bridal bouquet featuring a stunning Phalaenopsis orchid, trailing amaranthus and delicate pops of blue amongst mostly white blooms, and her bridesmaids carried coordinating all-white bouquets, allowing the bride’s bouquet to beautifully stand out. The ceremony overlooked the incredible Maleny hinterland, with lush floral arrangements displayed on modern plinths to frame the moment perfectly.
As the afternoon turned to golden hour, the dreamy sunset created the most magical setting for portraits, with elegant parasols adding a stylish finishing touch and pop of fun to the bridal party photos. Inside the cosy reception, the ceremony flowers were repurposed into a lush cake backdrop, while bud vases on tables and a delicate floral arrangement in the lounge completed the romantic, intimate styling.
Monique and Nicholas’ wedding was everything we love about a Maleny wedding – timeless, romantic and surrounded by breathtaking hinterland views. It was such a privilege to create their wedding flowers and be part of their beautiful day. They were an absolute dream to work with, and we wish them a lifetime of love and happiness together.
