LIZ + ROB AT PIER 33 MOOLOOLABA / MAROOCHYDORE

PIER 33, MOOLOOLABA

NOVEMBER 2018

Liz and her husband married at Stella Maris Church in November, in Maroochydore, on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland and then celebrations continued upstairs at Pier 33 in Mooloolaba with subtle sea breezes and views of the marina.

Liz and her girl gang embraced bright bold colours, each dress showcasing gorgeous floral prints, so each bouquet was as different as each dress but still cohesive and Liz’s bouquet was a culmination of all the bridesmaids’ bouquets! It was so lovely to do something a little different and looked amazing showcasing all the lovelies that November has to offer!

We used grouped flowers of larger blooms so they would not look fussy against the bold prints of the dresses. The flowers used for the bouquets were bronze cymbidium orchids, latte-toned spray roses, gold vanda orchids, lush coral peonies, mango, and hot pink toned open roses, pink rhododendron, white lilac, duo-toned double tulips, and lush foliages such as olive and magnolia.

Pier 33 was decked out with bountiful posies and single blooms along the tables in clear and white vessels, leaving plenty of room for food and beverages. We arranged the grouped candles to create a lush and abundant but intimate feel.

The large bar area at Pier 33 had to have a striking feature arrangement. This was a real eye-catcher of stunning blooms and grouped foliages.

Willow Bud Wedding Florist created these wedding flowers and bridal bouquets. The wedding ceremony and reception designs were created specifically for this bride at this Sunshine Coast wedding venue, but this style could be created at many of our beautiful Sunshine Coast hinterland wedding venues in Maleny, Montville, Mapleton, Obi Obi, and Flaxton. This wedding styling and wedding florals would also match perfectly with venues and beaches in Noosa, Mooloolaba, Caloundra and private properties across the Sunshine Coast.
