FLOWERS FOREVER – YANDINA STATION

YANDINA STATION

MAY 2019

Yandina Station Wedding Flowers Nat and Tom

Nat and Tom were such a fun couple and as you can see from Alan Hughes photos it shows! It was such a lovely day setting up and feeling the love and relaxed vibe that the couple had created for their guests.

Nat’s floral brief was not the easiest to get our heads around but I think we created some really fun and lovely bouquets that suited the girl who doesn’t really like flowers.

We used a mix of fresh neutral toned natives and dried ‘forever’ blooms to create these rustic and fun beauties – with fresh pops of white with the dried amaranthys, preserved ruscus and cotton sticks. A touch of grey toned eucalyptus tied it all together. And the bouquets like the memories will literally last forever!

Ceremony was simple, taking its cues from the lush outlook at Yandina Station. When setting up the arbour florals I could hear all the whooping and laughs coming from the girls getting ready at the onsite cabins…so much fun on the day!

We used more of the dried and fresh native elements mixed with some vine and fern to adorn the VERY solid triangular arbour provided by the couple.

This wedding was featured on an online blog and all over social media for its fun and simple theme. We had such fun making the florals for this wedding.

The reception was topped off with hedges of dried florals and posies in mixed white vessels along the tables featuring the fun puffs of cotton, these were placed on hessian runners and of course candles – cause candles – always.. Guests names were written on green leaves that really popped on the brown and neutral textures. Such a simple and lovely colour palette.

Willow Bud Wedding Florist created these wedding flowers and bridal bouquets. The wedding ceremony and reception designs were created specifically for this bride at this Sunshine Coast wedding venue, but this style could be created at many of our beautiful Sunshine Coast hinterland wedding venues in Maleny, Montville, Mapleton, Obi Obi, and Flaxton. This wedding styling and wedding florals would also match perfectly with venues and beaches in Noosa, Mooloolaba, Caloundra and private properties across the Sunshine Coast.
