Krystelle and Anthony met us at a wedding open day and knew from that moment that Willow Bud, was the florist they wanted for their wedding day. Venues and dates changed but not Krystelle’s trust and dedication to have us be a part of her day. Thank you so much for choosing us and allowing us to create some magical florals.We honestly get the most lovely and amazing couples to work with.
Krystelles bouquet was full of all the things that you could possibly want in a soft bouncy full bouquet – peonies, playa blanca roses, phalaenopsis orchids, dusty blush/mauve menta and quicksand roses. LUSH!
The couple chose a floral nest to encase them as they said their vows, this hedge style garden nest is becoming very popular, for the close and intimate feel it gives a ceremony and also for the ease of transferring to other areas in your reception space.
The Glasshouse in Doonan is rich, modern, dark and elegant, so softening it with light and bright floral and romantic designs with a modern edge was the perfect balance. We took advantage of the dark timbers, stone and black features adding rich burgundy foliages to tie in and Krystelle chose dark toned candles to add to the rich palette. Our concrete style pots finished the look.
We created large bar and bench arrangements, low sprawling coffee table florals and long and low hedges to be placed along the long guest table on the verandah creating a garland feel whilst still allowing for glasses, food and socialising!

Willow Bud Wedding Florist created these wedding flowers and bridal bouquets. The wedding ceremony and reception designs were created specifically for this bride at this Sunshine Coast wedding venue, but this style could be created at many of our beautiful Sunshine Coast hinterland wedding venues in Maleny, Montville, Mapleton, Obi Obi, and Flaxton.
