We love a moody or monotone rich burgundy colour palette when it comes to wedding flowers. Rich tones, layered textures and luxe seasonal blooms create an instant atmosphere and bring a beautiful sense of romance and drama to a wedding day.
Sinead and Jordan’s stunning wedding ceremony, nestled beneath the canopy of trees in a beautiful tree-lined avenue, was everything we love about a romantic Sunshine Coast hinterland wedding. Whimsical, atmospheric and with an almost old-world charm.
Sinead’s exquisite wedding dress, delicate veil and jewellery were the perfect pairing against the rich reds and deep burgundy tones of her bridal bouquet. A little drama, a little romance and a whole lot of floral perfection.
One of our favourite designs of the year was the whimsical floral nest created for their ceremony. An organic, garden-inspired floral installation that felt right at home amongst the surrounding trees and natural landscape.
Sinead’s bridal bouquet was a luxurious mix of cymbidium orchids, calla lilies, hellebores and deep burgundy roses, finished with trailing amaranthus and andromeda for that beautiful vintage-inspired movement and texture.
The clear marquee reception was filled with floral designs; from gardens at the base of the tables, and whimsical roses growing from the lawns to clusters of layered florals, petals, candles and blooms on the guest tables. The sweetheart bridal table featuring sprawling ground gardens – a perfect floral nest for the newlyweds.
