As a Sunshine Coast wedding florist, we love travelling throughout South East Queensland to create beautiful wedding florals, and Amy and Sterling’s elegant wedding at The Valley Estate on the Gold Coast was one we’ll never forget. Not only was it our first time creating wedding flowers at this incredible venue, but we completely fell in love with its stunning chapel, beautifully landscaped gardens and elegant reception space. This timeless celebration featured a soft palette of white, champagne and nude florals, creating a classic, romantic aesthetic that perfectly complemented the venue.
Amy’s bridal bouquet was inspired by Princess Catherine’s iconic wedding bouquet, featuring delicate white hyacinths and her own porcelain Lily of the Valley flower. Taking over five hours to create, each bloom was individually wired by hand using traditional ribboning and layering techniques, making it one of our most intricate bridal bouquets to date. Her bridesmaids carried elegant bouquets of massed hyacinths to beautifully complement the look.
The ceremony took place in The Valley Estate’s picturesque chapel, framed by two freestanding floral arrangements and lush garden-style aisle florals. These ceremony flowers were later repurposed into the reception, creating abundant floral installations around the bridal table and guest tables alongside candles, bud vases, little trails of hyacinth petals, and the venue’s stunning chandeliers. It definitely had the wow factor!
Amy and Sterling were an absolute dream to work with, and we loved bringing their floral vision to life.
