Inspired by Wuthering Heights, this modern and romantic collaborative shoot at The Old Dairy Maleny brings together vintage touches and modern details in a way that feels both timeless and personal. Set against the stunning Sunshine Coast Hinterland, this Maleny wedding inspiration showcases a beautiful collaboration of local wedding vendors, focusing on soft fabrics, layered textures, and statement moments.
A soft palette of blush pinks, white, silver and a pop of deep plum carried throughout the shoot. Blousy hydrangea and garden-styled roses were paired with modern phalaenopsis orchids and lilies, creating a balance between classic and contemporary wedding flowers. Layered, lush blooms in organic shapes combined with flowing fabrics and thoughtful styling to achieve a look that feels refined, romantic, and beautifully understated.
This collaboration of Sunshine Coast wedding vendors focused on vintage elements, soft textures, and statement moments like the welcome signage and drapery flowing from the ceiling of The Old Dairy, a trio of vintage lights hanging overhead and a raised ceremony stage featuring lush, organic clustered florals.
We created a petite bridal bouquet with delicate trailing elements of wired delphinium, calla lilies, and cymbidium orchids, simple and understated, yet perfectly curated to complement the overall design.
The sunlit ceremony space centred on a circular stage, with lush gardens surrounding and flowing up onto the platform. The aisle between the bench seating featured abundant aisle gardens, creating a whimsical and romantic path to the ceremony space, perfect for a Sunshine Coast Hinterland wedding setting.
In the wedding reception space, soft drapery, velvet napkins and florals adorned the tables. The bridal table featured a lush floral installation spilling off the edge and onto the floor, while vintage-inspired stationery and silver styling provided the finishing touches.
Guest table arrangements were each uniquely designed in classic glass vases, featuring massed modern blooms with elegant extensions that tied in beautifully with the overall wedding flowers concept.
We loved how this Maleny wedding shoot came together, and while we say it every time, this one truly was a favourite!
