PAIGE + JOSH AT YABBALOUMBA RETREAT

Nestled in the Sunshine Coast hinterland near Kenilworth, surrounded by rolling hills and featuring a beautiful rustic barn, Yabbaloumba Retreat was the perfect venue for Paige and Josh’s modern luxe meets relaxed country style wedding, even with a little rain to keep things interesting.

Paige’s bridal bouquet was large, lush and utterly stunning (if we do say so ourselves), with her bridesmaids carrying a smaller version to perfectly complement their soft powder blue dresses.

The ceremony took place outdoors between showers, and it was worth every moment of waiting. We designed a lush, oversized freestanding floral backdrop to frame the timber arbour, layered with premium white, ivory and soft baby blue blooms. The aisle was lined with garden-inspired flowers, creating the most romantic path for Paige’s walk towards Josh. We couldn’t help but get teary ourselves when we saw just how emotional he was – what a sweetheart.

When the rain returned, our team carefully moved everything into the barn so the celebrations could continue. Even though we were a little soggy, it was absolutely worth it. Inside, the reception space was transformed into a warm and inviting setting filled with abundant flowers and candlelight. Bespoke tablescapes lined the long tables, with premium blooms giving the room a modern luxe feel while still embracing the relaxed country style of Yabbaloumba Retreat. It was the cosiest atmosphere to dance the night away while the rain poured outside.

We loved bringing Paige and Josh’s wedding flower dreams to life and working with such a gorgeous couple. Looking back through their gallery, we were reminded of how magical the day truly was. And we have to say, Paige’s Grandma nearly stole the show – such an icon and effortlessly stylish.
